Our Apps

Every app below is built and published by DIYTech Labs on Google Play. We keep the collection focused: practical tools for signatures, documents, calculations and everyday phone tasks.

Draw Signature Pro, the premium edition of Draw Signature, is also available on Google Play for users who want the full feature set.

About Each App

Draw Signature

Draw Signature exists because signing a document on a phone used to mean printing it, signing the paper, scanning it back and emailing the scan — four steps for one signature. This app reduces it to one: draw your signature with a finger, or type your name and choose a signature style, adjust the pen and color, and save the result as a transparent PNG. Because the background is transparent, the signature drops cleanly onto PDFs, forms, photos and documents in any other app. You can keep several signatures on the device — a formal one for contracts, a quick one for forms — and none of them ever leave your phone. It is the studio's longest-running app and the one most of our users arrive through.

Dociq: AI PDF Scanner & OCR

Dociq is a document scanner built around a single design decision: your documents should never have to leave your phone to be scanned. Point the camera at a page and Dociq finds the edges, corrects the perspective and cleans up shadows and glare, then saves a tidy PDF. OCR runs on the device too, so the text inside your scans can be searched and copied without anything being uploaded. Document, ID-card and batch modes cover the everyday cases — a contract, a passport copy, a stack of receipts — and multi-page scans are combined into one file. The free tier includes a generous monthly export allowance with no watermarks; Pro removes the limits and the ads.

Smart Calculator

Smart Calculator is the calculator we wanted on our own phones: fast to open, easy to read, and complete enough that you rarely need a second one. It handles everyday arithmetic alongside scientific functions and unit conversions, so the same app covers splitting a bill, checking a percentage, converting measurements in the kitchen or workshop, and the longer calculations that come up in study and work. It is published under DIYTech Labs on Google Play and follows the same rules as everything else here: no account, no fuss, and it works the moment you tap it.

Status Saver Pro

Status Saver Pro solves a small, annoying problem: you see a photo or video in a contact's status that you want to keep — a family moment, a useful clip, something sent for you — and the app it appeared in gives you no save button. Status Saver Pro shows you the statuses you have viewed and lets you save the ones you choose to your own gallery in a couple of taps, so they are still there after the status itself expires. As with all our apps, what you save lives on your device, under your control.

Name on Birthday Cake 360

Name on Birthday Cake 360 is the playful one in the collection. Pick a birthday cake photo, write a name on it in a stylish font, add frames and decorations, and share the finished picture with the person you made it for. It is the kind of small, cheerful tool that gets used in a family group chat at midnight before a birthday — no design skills needed, and the result looks like you spent far longer on it than you did. It is free on Google Play under DIYTech Labs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are DIYTech Labs apps free?

Yes. Every app on this page is free to download and use on Google Play. A few offer an optional premium upgrade or a separate Pro edition for users who want more, but the free versions cover the core job properly.

Do the apps need an account?

No. None of our apps require you to create an account or sign in. You install the app and start using it; your content stays on your device.

How do I report a problem with an app?

Email us through the contact page and include the app name, your phone model and a short description of what happened. Screenshots help a lot. You can also leave a review on Google Play, which we read, but email gets you a more detailed reply.
