Dociq Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 20, 2026 · App: Dociq: AI PDF Scanner & OCR · Developer: DIYTech Labs
Dociq is designed so your documents stay yours. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with information.
What Dociq Does Not Collect
- No account or signup: we do not collect your name, email, phone number or address.
- Your scans are never uploaded. Scanning, cropping, enhancement filters and OCR text recognition are performed entirely on your device using on-device technology.
- We run no analytics of our own inside the app.
Third-Party Services
The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob, which may collect advertising identifiers and device data as described in Google's privacy policy. Where required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), a consent form is shown before personalised ads. Pro subscribers see no ads. Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat and Google Play; we receive confirmation of your subscription status, never your payment-card details.
Permissions
Dociq asks for camera access to scan documents and storage access only when you save or share an export. You can deny permissions and still install the app; scanning features simply will not work without the camera.
